We have been having email problems with our firstname.lastname@example.org internet provider, of 17 years. One of the two partners spilt and took all the passwords to the system, leaving the remaining partner ďup a creek without a paddleĒ. He had to hire a professional hacker to get control over the system. The system covers an area from north of Walnut Grove to Moss Landing in the south. I do have normal internet access and Iím able to send from this account, but anything sent to me will bounce back to you (donít use the Reply button); thus I have no ability to receive emails at the above address. The ability to receive emails hopefully will be fixed by September 15th. If you need to contact me, send them to email@example.com

Meeting Notes, September 12th
By Jim & Emilia Seiferling
We had 10 people at our September meeting. This meeting was held at the California Auto Museum. The Museum is closed to the public during their renovation project but the majority of displays were accessible for us to visit. The club provided pizza and soda for all to enjoy. Zack, from the museum staff, gave us an update on the roof renovation in progress. He also mentioned, much to our surprise, that the museum typically gets 100-200 international visitors per month.
John reported that next yearís POCA Fun Rally will be at either Monterey or Reno.
John, Rick, and George are planning to go to the Ironstone Concours on September 23rd. There is a fly in/car show at Cameron Park on September 30th. No one mentioned that they would be going to the Serrano Concourse this year, on Oct 1st. George may do the museum sponsored Cruise Fest, on October 7th. The Alameda All Italian car show is Sunday, October 8th.
John Drago has arranged the Christmas party for us again this year. It will again be at the Spaghetti Factory, in Rancho Cordova, Saturday December 16th, starting at 5:00pm to 7:00pm 20 people. We may not be in a private room but the tables will be together. No theme for the gift exchange has been selected yet.
No articles about the recent Monterey Fun Rally were turned in for the CP newsletter.
Chit chat around the table: Rick and Emilia have both closed down their businesses and retired. Rick is busy setting up his new shop space, in north Sacramento. Emilia is just getting used to the lack of a set schedule. Jeff has sold his house and is living in his motor home, in Auburn, while looking for a building site in the Forresthill area. George has offered to set up the 2018 CP Christmas party at the Spaghetti Factory, in Elk Grove. Ken reported on this yearís Burning Man event. Lori reported on a very hot time at the 24 Hours of Lemons. John will be selling merchandise at the Serrano Concours but will not have his car entered. Several Panteras are currently at Larry Stockís, in Carson City, having air conditioning work done.
